Can a pair of socks help start a conversation about inequality?
For a fundraising campaign by Oxfam Deutschland e.V., a simple everyday item became part of a bigger message: a pair of tennis socks carrying the words “Tax the rich”, created as a gift for new regular donors.
Our task was to bring the campaign idea to life visually. With Oxfam employees stepping in front of the camera, we created photography and video content around the socks, their message and the people wearing them — keeping the campaign approachable while making sure its message stood out.
The content was developed for different moments throughout the campaign: from short-form videos and social ads to YouTube advertising, as well as photography for Oxfam’s website, newsletters and other digital touchpoints. Beyond the shoot itself, we turned the photography into finished campaign visuals, combining the images with typography and graphic elements ready to use across channels.
The result was a versatile set of campaign assets built around one simple idea — turning a pair of socks into a visible message and using creative content to support Oxfam in reaching new regular donors.
